When platelet decreases without any cause like fever ,infection or viral infection then there is a chance of ITP which is immune thrombocytopenia purpura which is an auto immune disease where body self de fence mechanism attack its own platelets making then in lower in count as we know platelet is crucial for blood clotting si ITP may be very serious as it may lead to bleeding and other complication treatment usually includes managing symptoms by boosting platelets through medications like steroids or in extream cases surgical removal of spleen
ITP can be diagnose by investigations like Complete hemogram, Peripheral Smear ,Bone Marrow test
